Understanding Free Will versus Fate in relationships can be a bewildering topic when it comes to the spiritual path. As a result, when it involves love and relationships it is not always easy to discern. If we have free will, what do we get to choose and whom do we get to choose to fulfill our destiny? Below are 4 key points to shed light on the subject.
The Four Keys To Understanding The Difference Between Free Will vs Fate when it Comes to Relationships and Love:
Fate = First of all, life is a required course. As such, our lives are synonymous with our relationships. We were born and therefore destined to live in a world of time, understanding that reality doesn’t exist without relationship.
Free Will = How we choose to spend this time, and with whom we decide to do time, is voluntary.
Fate = Consequently, we do not establish the curriculum.
Free Will = Allows us to elect what courses/experiences we take at a given time.
“The only meaning possible for free will is this: what you choose to join with you, and what you choose to leave outside of yourself.”
Fate = Will not guarantee we will discover the true meaning of love. For this is beyond what one can teach.
Free Will = The curriculum of life, however, is focused on removing the blocks to the awareness of love’s presence through our voluntary engagement.

Fate = As a result, is all-encompassing and can have no opposite. This we know as our natural inheritance or destiny to fulfill our life purpose. To “BE” who we are meant to be; a Being who exists and thrives in love and relationships.
Free Will = Most noteworthy, the opposite of love is fear, and this one can choose freely.
